Mrs. Baker | Fifth Grade
Our fifth grader teacher, Mrs. Baker, is in her 18th year teaching school, her 12th teaching fifth grade, and her 7th year with LIGHTHOUSE. She teaches with a project oriented style because that is "how I was taught to teach." She taught in the Lake Stevens School District for many years when she read about the new cooperative program opening in the Everett School District.

Mrs. Bennett | Kindergarten
Mrs. Bennett teaches kindergarten. Two unique facts about her are... she has no middle name and always wanted one.... and she is a registered Sioux Indian from South Dakota.

Mr. Holmberg | Fourth Grade
Mr. Holmberg was born in raised in a small town in western Montana. In 2003 he married his wife in the same church where his parents and grandparents were married. Then he moved with her to Washington, where they live with their two children.

Ms. Lemkau | First & Second Grade
Ms. Lemkau has been teaching since 1995 and received her Master of Arts in Teaching in 2003. Since coming to Lighthouse eight years ago, she has taught kindergarten, first grade, and currently teaches first and second grade. Professionally, she has critiqued books and lessons for a book company, and is currently on the school leadership team for math.

Mrs. McGuire | First & Second Grade
Mrs. McGuire is a Washingtonian - born and raised. She is married with two grown sons, 2 wonderful daughter in laws and 5 grandchildren. She has a teaching degree from Western Washington University (with endorsements in Reading and Social Studies) and a Masters from City University . She has taught in the Everett School District since 1986.
